LEGAL · TERMS

Terms of Service.

These terms govern your use of medipill.co.uk and the in-branch and online services we provide across our four Oxford branches. Pharmacy services are also regulated by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and (where NHS-funded) by NHS England — these terms sit alongside, and do not override, those statutory obligations. Last reviewed on 19 May 2026.

01 · About us

Who you are dealing with.

medipill.co.uk is operated by MediPill Pharmacy — a trading name of two registered UK companies: Ventral Ltd (Botley, Summertown and Deddington branches) and Headington Healthcare Ltd (Headington branch). Both registered in England & Wales. All four premises are GPhC-registered community pharmacies. Our Superintendent Pharmacist is Zain Rajabali (GPhC 2219769).

02 · Our services

The services we provide.

Through this website and our four Oxford branches we provide:

  • ·NHS-funded community pharmacy services (Pharmacy First, NHS Vaccinations, Blood Pressure Check, New Medicine Service, NHS Contraception, repeat prescription dispensing).
  • ·Private travel vaccinations from our NaTHNaC-registered Yellow Fever Centre.
  • ·Private vaccinations: Shingles, Chickenpox, MMR, Whooping Cough, Private Flu & COVID.
  • ·Same-day clinic services: Ear-Wax Microsuction, Cholesterol & Glucose, Period Delay, pharmacist-led Weight-Loss programme.
  • ·Online appointment booking via our third-party booking provider (Pabau).

All clinical services are delivered by GPhC-registered pharmacists. Eligibility for NHS-funded services is determined under the relevant NHS service specification — our pharmacists will explain whether you qualify at the point of consultation.

03 · Your responsibilities

What we need from you.

To deliver safe clinical care, we ask that you:

04 · Returns & cancellations

Returns, refunds and cancellations.

Under the UK Human Medicines Regulations 2012, dispensed medicines cannot be returned, exchanged, or resold once they have left a pharmacy — even when the outer packaging is unopened. Returning medicines to stock for redispensing is strictly prohibited to safeguard supply-chain integrity, end-to-end traceability, and the safety of every patient we serve.

Eligible refund triggers (before despatch)

A pre-despatch refund will be issued only where one of the following criteria is met:

Refund processing window

Where a refund is approved, it is returned to the original payment method within 14 days of approval. Bank settlement and card-issuer processing windows beyond this point are outside our control and may add a small additional delay.

Defective or damaged packaging on receipt

If your medicine arrives with damaged, tampered, or otherwise compromised packaging, you must contact us within 24 hours of receipt with clear photographic evidence — the outer carton, the inner blister or bottle, and any visible seal. Email the images to info@medipill.co.uk quoting your order reference. Where the defect is validated by our pharmacy team, we will arrange a like-for-like replacement or, where preferred, a full refund.

Service cancellations

Booked clinical services — vaccinations, travel consultations, ear-wax microsuction, weight-management reviews, diagnostic tests — may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations made inside the 24-hour window may forfeit the deposit at the responsible pharmacist’s discretion. The £40 Weight-Loss consultation fee remains redeemable against treatment if commenced within 90 days of the original consult.

05 · Bookings & payments

Bookings, payments and cancellations.

Bookings. Appointments may be booked online through our partner Pabau, by telephone, or by walking in. The booking is provisional until you receive a confirmation; the branch reserves the right to decline or reschedule on clinical, capacity or stock grounds.

Payment. Private services are payable at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices shown on the website are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable. We accept card payments in branch.

Cancellations & refunds. Please give as much notice as possible — at least 24 hours where you can. We do not currently charge a cancellation fee. Where a service has not been delivered, we will refund any payment in full. Where a service has been partially delivered (e.g. dose 1 of a two-dose course), we will discuss a fair pro-rata adjustment with you.

Weight-Loss programme: the £40 consultation fee is redeemable against the cost of treatment if you choose to proceed with the programme on the day of consultation.

06 · Clinical advice

Information on this site is not a substitute for clinical care.

General health information on this website is provided for educational purposes only. It is not personal clinical advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.

In an emergency, dial 999. For urgent (non-life-threatening) medical advice, dial 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk.

We will always direct you to your GP, A&E or NHS 111 when your symptoms fall outside the scope of community-pharmacy care.

07 · Intellectual property

Use of this website & content.

All content on this website — including text, layout, design, photographs, logos, and the MediPill brand — is owned by us or our licensors, and is protected by UK copyright and trade-mark law. You may view, download and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you may not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit any content without our written permission.

Brand or product names referenced (for example NHS, GPhC, NaTHNaC, Shingrix, Varilrix, Revaxis) are the trade-marks or service marks of their respective owners and are used here for descriptive purposes only.

08 · Liability

Limitation of liability.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the law of England & Wales.

Subject to the above, we do not accept liability for errors or omissions in general health information on the website that you rely on without consulting a qualified clinician; issues arising from any third-party site or service linked from this website — including but not limited to our booking partner Pabau; or loss of profit, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss.

All clinical services are delivered to a standard expected of GPhC-registered pharmacists, and clinical-care complaints are handled through our Complaints Procedure.

09 · Law & changes

Governing law and changes to these terms.

These terms, and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them, are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any dispute arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts, except where you are a consumer and consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, regulatory guidance, or applicable law. The most current version always lives at this page. We mark the page with the date of the last review (in the hero, above) so you can see when it changed.

10 · Data processors

Third-party data processors & breach response.

For UK GDPR purposes, MediPill Pharmacy acts as the data controller of your personal data. To operate certain services we use the following third-party data processors, each bound by a Data Processing Agreement that meets Article 28 UK GDPR requirements:

  • ·Pabau (Hambrand Technology Company) — appointment booking, clinical notes and patient records. Pabau is GDPR-certified, encrypts data in transit & at rest, applies strict access controls, and is regularly audited.
  • ·MailChimp (Intuit Inc.) — only where you have explicitly consented to receive marketing emails.
  • ·NHS Spine / EPS — for NHS prescription dispensing (NHS-funded statutory processing).
  • ·WordPress.com / hosting — for the operation of medipill.co.uk.

International transfers. Where a processor stores data outside the UK or EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place — UK adequacy regulations, Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum — so your data continues to enjoy UK-GDPR-equivalent protection.

Breach response. In the unlikely event of a personal-data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Information Commissioner’s Office within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, and contact affected data subjects where the breach poses a high risk.

For full detail on the data we hold, your rights, and our retention practices, see our Privacy policy.
